This site was purchased for a client with planning for 6 flats and an application had been rejected at appeal for both 7 and 8 flats. Style & Space completely redesigned the scheme into a more traditional double fronted period property that not only reflecting the original massing and scale of the street but also the detailing. London stock brick with weather struck pointing and stone window surrounds created a beautiful and traditional new build.
The planners loved the design and granted permission for 8 flats under delegated powers. It was a prime example of our ability to deliver increased value to the land owner through high quality considered design, while also delivering a building that fits with the local vernacular and street scene.
